Team & Group Training

Team and Group Trainings are formalized needs-based training curriculum developed by me through pre-established interviews with leadership and department stakeholders. The trainings are attended by any members of the department pre-approved to participate and have a pre-determined goal.

The trainings can be closed, meaning there is a beginning and end to the trainings, or on an on-going basis depending on the organization’s needs. All trainings will have a large group discussion component and breakout discussions, at the end of all trainings there will be action items and follow up actions with management and leadership. It is crucial that team members see their training in action rather than as just empty platitudes that end in nothing.

On a more detailed note, I have worked with Teams going through contentious mergers and I have worked with international teams working through cross-border and cultural misunderstandings. In all cases, having the opportunity to find the commonality of concerns without dwelling in them but turning them into actionable items rallied teams to turnover and work toward a common goal. Even in difficult situations teams want to work together, listening and finding those moments are what create lasting success.

Attendees will receive worksheets and resources for further research if they wish to further their professional development.
